Vesanto is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the Northern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 1,973 (31 December 2020)[2] and covers an area of 569.80 square kilometres (220.00 sq mi) of which 147.1 km2 (56.8 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 4.67 inhabitants per square kilometre (12.1/sq mi).

Neighbour municipalities are Keitele, Konnevesi, Rautalampi, Tervo, Viitasaari and Äänekoski.

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
