The American Elm cultivar Ulmus americana 'Klehmii' was cloned from a tree growing at Arlington Heights by Mr Charles Klehm, proprietor of the Charles Klehm & Son nursery.[1][2]

Description

'Klehmii' was distinguished by its shapely vase form.

Cultivation

The tree was first marketed by the Naperville Nurseries [1], Naperville, Illinois, in 1929. It is not known whether the tree remains in cultivation.
