Chuukic (/ˈkɪk/), historically also rendered Trukic[1] (/ˈtrkɪk/), is a subgroup of the Chuukic–Pohnpeic family of the Austronesian language family.[2] The languages are primarily spoken in Chuuk State and Yap State of the Federated States of Micronesia.
