The Tana Bridge (Norwegian: Tana bru) is a bridge from 1948, that crosses the Tana River in Troms og Finnmark, Norway. It is located in a village also called Tana bru.

In 2020 a bridge was opened 100 meters to the south, and its nickname is "Nybrua".

The bridge from 1948

The old bridge is 220 metres long, and the main span is 194 metres. The old bridge was opened in 1948. There was a predecessor bridge that was destroyed on November 6, 1944 as a consequence of the Liberation of Finnmark during World War II.[1][2]

Authorities intend to have the bridge demolished (as of 2020), and the municipality has not protested.[3]

Nybrua (the bridge from 2020)

The new bridge which was opened for traffic 15 september 2020 is a 260 meter long cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 234 meters. It is the only bridge over the lowest 100 km of the Tana River, except for the old Tana bridge, located nearby which is planned to be demolished.
