Seoul Samsung Thunders (Korean: 서울 삼성 썬더스) have been in the KBL (Korean Basketball League) since its inception 24 years ago. The Seoul Samsung Thunders received their name from Samsung Electronics. Originally based in Suwon, they are now located in the heart of South Korea's capital, Seoul, and play at Jamsil Arena.
