Roger Fairchild (born c. 1953) is a Republican politician from Fruitland, Idaho,[1] active in the 1980s and early 1990s. He was the GOP's (Grand Old Party's) nominee for Governor of Idaho in 1990,[2][3][4] but was defeated by the Democratic incumbent, Cecil Andrus.[5][6][7][8]
Fairchild was a member of the Idaho Legislature, serving in the state senate from 1980 to 1990, when he resigned to run for governor.[4][9][10]
In 2002, Fairchild announced his candidacy for state senate, running for the seat in Idaho Legislative District 9.[1] He was defeated in the Republican primary by Monty Pearce.[11]
