History
The Rio Tabac Alpha Series was created in 2006 by José "Pepin" Garcia and is manufactured in Nicaragua. It was originally made at El Rey de los Habanos factory in Miami, Florida, but is no longer made by Don Pepin.

This range is the first in the Alpha Series. The 'R' stands for Robust. [1]
Description
This is a full-bodied cigar. The wrapper is a Criollo '98 Oscuro, dark, but not jet-black. The filler, as always with Don Pepin's blends, is an all-Nicaraguan blend known as Blend No. 7. [1] The specific binder is unknown, although most likely a Nicaraguan leaf.
