Ravanusa (Sicilian: Rivinusa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Agrigento.
Ravanusa is near the Monte Saraceno http://livingagrigento.it/it_IT/Cultura/main/cultura?strutt_id=1565_92029-Ravanusa__-IL-SITO-ARCHEOLOGICO-DEL-MONTE-SARACENO site, an ancient Greek settlement thought to be that of the city of Kakyron.
