The National University of Modern Languages (NUMLs) (Urdu: قومی جامعہ برائے جدید لسانیات) is a public university with its main campus located in Islamabad, Pakistan[2] and other satellite campuses in different cities of Pakistan. It was established as an institute in 1969 and upgraded to university on May 29, 2000.[3] It offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in languages, linguistics, social sciences, communications, engineering, management sciences and computer sciences. It is one of the largest university in the country. In 2013, the university was ranked in top 15 by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) (HEC) "general category" ranking.[4]
