List of diplomatic missions in Syria

This is a list of diplomatic missions in Syria. After the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War, many have been closed, withdrawn their ambassadors, or temporarily relocated to Beirut.

  • United States [embassy suspended operations and closed for normal consular services 6 February 2012, represented by Interests Section in the embassy of Poland, until Polish Embassy closed. Since 1 March 2013, a U.S. Interests Section operates via the Government of the Czech Republic through its embassy in Damascus. Only emergency services for U.S. citizens are available. Neither U.S. passports nor visas to the United States can be issued in Damascus].[23]
