Squalius cii is a species of freshwater fish in the family Cyprinidae. It is also known as the Marmara chub. The species is endemic to Turkey.[2]
As an invasive species
It has been recorded as an invasive species in Ireland since 2004, when it was formally recorded. In Irish waters it predates on native aquatic plants and invertebrates.[3]
