Karel Gut

Karel Gut (16 September 1927 – 6 January 2014) was a Czech ice hockey player. Born in Prague, he played in the Czechoslovak Extraliga. As a player, he won three bronze medals on the World Championships. He was later coach of the Czechoslovak national team and won the World Championships in 1976 and 1977.[1] He was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 1998.

Gut died on January 6, 2014 at the age of 86.[2]
