He is perhaps best known for the film The Visit,[1] for which he was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards and the movie four. His movie Constellation was released in February 2007 and is now screened around the United States at conferences promoting racial healing in America. He has worked in his films with the actors Phylicia Rashad, Hill Harper, Billy Dee Williams, David Clennon, Talia Shire, Zoe Saldana, William Hurt, Gabrielle Union, Lynn Redgrave, Harry Connick Jr., Glynn Turman, Lesley Ann Warren, Rae Dawn Chong, Marla Gibbs, Samantha Mathis, Eric Stoltz, and Clarence Williams, III among others.
