Irving Kayton

Irving Kayton, Esq. is the founder of the Patent Resources Group, Inc. (PRG),[1] a business organization that markets patent-related training. Professor Kayton is an Emeritus Law Professor at the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.[2] He previously served as a Professor at The George Washington University Law Center.[3]

He received his B.A. in Mathematics, with distinction, from Cornell University, and his J.D. from New York University School of Law, his LL.M. from Columbia University and a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) from Columbia Law School as well.

In January 2006, Professor Kayton retired from his law practice to his home in Free Union, Virginia. He sold PRG to Landon IP, Inc., a company that sells patent-related services to the legal community.
