Fatou Niang Siga

Fatou Niang Siga (born 1932) is a Senegalese author and schoolteacher. She is a Mouride Muslim and has made the hajj to Mecca twice. She is married and has twelve children. Her daughter Maïmouna Sourang Ndir served as Senegal's ambassador to France.[1][2]

Her writing has revolved around her native Saint-Louis, Senegal.[2]
