Richard Leroy Teed (March 8, 1926 – August 17, 2014)[1] was a Major League Baseball player who had one at bat for the Brooklyn Dodgers as a pinch hitter in a 1953 game and struck out. Although he did not appear on defense in the major leagues, he was a catcher during his minor league career. He became a manager in the Philadelphia Phillies' minor league system after his playing career ended.
