Deodhai was a language script believed by some intellectuals to be used by ancient Kachari tribes.[1]

Bishnu Prasad Rabha said he gathered a few specimens of the Deodhai alphabet from the Dimapur area.[2] Nowadays, some of the Kachari tribes use the Latin alphabet, some the Eastern Nagari script and some the Devanagari script.[2][3]
