Big West Advertising Co., Ltd. (BWA), recently renamed to Big West Frontier Co., Ltd. (株式会社ビックウエスト フロンティア) is a Japanese advertising agency. They are known as one of the sponsors of the Macross franchise in Japan.

Big West initially sponsored the Super Dimension series (超時空シリーズ, Chō Jikū Shiriizu, "Super Spacetime series"), composed in chronological order of the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Century Orguss, and Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross.

Big West has also sponsored the different sequels and prequels to the original Macross series and other anime as well as several manga, toy lines, music albums and video games related to their sponsored productions that have been released mostly in Japan.

Macross legal case

Due to Harmony Gold USA claiming ownership of the Macross series outside of Japan a series of legal cases began in Japan. In 2005, Big West, along with Studio Nue were determined to co-own the Macross franchise and its characters and stories.[1]
