Baron Teignmouth

John Shore, 1st Baron Teignmouth.

Baron Teignmouth, of Teignmouth, was a title in the Peerage of Ireland.[1] It was created in 1798 for Sir John Shore, 1st Baronet, previously Governor-General of India. He had already been created a Baronet in the Baronetage of Great Britain in 1792.[2] The titles became extinct in 1981 on the death of the seventh Baron.
