Agrominerals

Agrominerals are minerals of importance to agriculture and horticulture, are usually essential plant nutrients. Some agrominerals occur naturally in concentrations and forms that can be used as alternative fertilizers or soil amendments.[1]

The study of agrominerals is termed agrogeology, and agrogeologists are concerned with issues such as the replenishment of soil fertility in areas where agrominerals have been mined out or depleted by unsustainable farming methods.
