Peter Fraser (Northwest Territories politician)

Peter "Pete" Fraser (born: 1921 Fort Chipewyan, Alberta - died: 2000) was a politician and Métis leader and highway inspector from Northwest Territories, Canada. He served as a member of the Northwest Territories Legislature from 1979 until 1983.

Fraser was first elected in a by-election to the Northwest Territories Legislature in the electoral district of Mackenzie Great Bear in 1976. He ran for re-election and won a second term in the 1979 Northwest Territories general election. He served a single term in the Legislature and did not return when it was dissolved in 1983.
