The University of Bordeaux 1 was a French university, in the Academy of Bordeaux. Its main campus was in Talence. It had many important laboratories such as :
- Centre de Neurosciences Intégratives et Cognitives (CNIC), a neuroscience research center[1]
- Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI), a computer science research center[2]
