Sycosis

Sycosis is an inflammation of hair follicles, especially of the beard area,[1][2][3] and generally classified as papulopustular[1][3] and chronic.[2]

Types

Types include:

  • Sycosis barbae
  • Lupoid sycosis
  • Tinea sycosis
  • Herpetic sycosis
