Kelaart's pipistrelle (Pipistrellus ceylonicus) is a species of vesper bat.

It is found in southern and south-eastern Asia from Pakistan to Indonesia.

Description

Head and body length is 9 cm. Forearms 4 cm. Wingspan is 26–27 cm. Weight 3-5g. Males are larger and brighter than females. Color varies from almost dark brown to bright reddish brown, but usually reddish brown above and paler below. Wing membrane dark brown. Body covered with dense, short fur.
