"Help Is on Its Way" was written by Glenn Shorrock and was a hit single by the Australian group Little River Band in 1977. It was featured on the album Diamantina Cocktail. The song went to number one in Australia on the Kent Music Report singles chart.[1] The song was the fourth highest selling single by an Australian artist, and eighteenth highest overall for 1977.[1] The song rose to No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
At the Australian 1977 King of Pop Awards the song won Australian Record of the Year.[2]
