Dunn's mud turtle (Kinosternon dunni ),[1] also known as the Colombian mud turtle, is a species of turtle in the family Kinosternidae. The turtle's habitat is fresh water, swamps and slow rivers.[3]

Etymology

The epithet or specific name, dunni, honors Emmett Reid Dunn, an American herpetologist.[4]

Geographic range

K. dunni is endemic to Colombia.
