Cosme Rivera (born July 19, 1976 in Huatabampo, Sonora, Mexico) is a professional boxer. He held the WBONABO light welterweight title in 1999, the WBC Continental Americas light welterweight title in 2002, the WBA Fedecentro & WBO Latino welterweight titles in 2006 and the WBC Latino light welterweight title in 2011. He also fought for a unified welterweight world title in 2005.

Rivera had a Draw in his professional debut on Jan. 1, 1993 vs. Cachorron Diaz (0-0) in Mexico.

Rivera got his first title fight on November 22, 1996 vs. Luis Alejandro Ugalde (7-0) in Tijuana, Mexico for the Baja California State Light Welterweight Title, winning by point in 12 rounds. In his career that spanned since January 1993, Cosme has fought many popular fighters like Alfredo Angulo (18-1), Ricky Quiles (28-4-1), Diosbelys Hurtado (30-2-1), Juan Carlos Rodriguez (36-16-2), Arturo Morua (15-1-1), Hicklet Lau (17-6-2), Wilfredo Negron (20-6-0), Gilberto Reyes (18-2-1), Felix Flores (22-4-0), Joel Julio (27-1-0), & Andre Berto (18-0-0).
