Boucard's wren (Campylorhynchus jocosus) is a species of bird in the family Troglodytidae. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
Taxonomy and systematics
Previous studies considered Boucard's wren to be conspecific with the cactus wren, but DNA study does not support this link.[2]
A 2007 genetic study established the following relationships between species, including some selected subspecies:[3]
