The blue-banded toucanet (Aulacorhynchus coeruleicinctis) is a species of bird in the family Ramphastidae. It is found across Central and South America, including Panama, Costa Rica, Bolivia and Peru.[2] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It weighs 173–257 grams (6.1–9.1 oz.) and is 38–43 cm (15–17 in) long.[3]

The alternate name blue-throated toucanet should not be confused with the species of the same name, Aulacorhynchus caeruleogularis.
